Hop on over to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for an Easter tradition Sunday, April 24. Visit the Lodge at Moose Lake between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. to color a hard boiled egg at one of the special decorating stations, then check the feeding schedule to watch as zookeepers distribute the eggs to the animals between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Special treats like this enrich the animals, promote mental and physical exercise, and stimulate the natural behavior of foraging for food.
Please note, for the health and safety of the animals, all eggs and decorating supplies will be provided by Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. Normal admission rates apply.
