--Cheyenne Mountain Zoo Hosts Annual Plant Sale this Memorial Weekend--

May 24, 2013, Colorado Springs, CO – If you've ever been “green with envy” over the lush landscaping at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the annual plant sale this Memorial Weekend can help you. The Zoo will host its greenest event of the year Saturday through Monday (May 25-27) from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Zoo admission is not required to attend the plant sale.

The Zoo’s plant sale offers more than 250 varieties of water-wise and VERY water-wise grasses, shrubs, herbs and perennials (no annuals). All of the plants are Colorado-grown, with the majority grown right at the Zoo. Plus, the Zoo’s horticulture staff and horticulture curator will be on hand to help you choose the right plants for your garden.

All of the plants are very competitively priced, and all of the proceeds benefit Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
