September 11, 2013, Colorado Springs, CO – Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is celebrating the service of military personnel and their families during Military Appreciation Week. The week of appreciation started on Monday and runs through Sunday, September 15 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. (last admission sold at 4 p.m.). All active duty and retired military members and their families will receive Zoo admission for just $5.25 per person, a discount of up to $6 off regular military rates for this time of year.

To receive the discount, military personnel and their families can simply present a valid military ID at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s admission booth.
