Dear President/CEO and Customer Service,


I am very concerned about the effects of non-sustainable palm oil production on orangutans and other wildlife in Indonesia and Malaysia where palm oil plantations are depleting rainforests.  At the rate that the rainforest is being cut down, orangutans will be extinct in 10 years!  

 As a consumer of your products, I'm urging you to please consider making the following changes:

* Become familiar with the definition of certified sustainable palm oil created by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). 
*  When certified SPO becomes available, only partner with those in the chain of custody that meet the requirements for certified sustainable palm oil.   
* Consider joining the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil to help move the entire palm oil industry to adopt ecologically sound practices.  (Please see www.rspo.org for more information.)
* Reformulate any of your products that now contain palm oil/palmitate to use other oils or ingredients
* After you have switched to sustainable yield palm oil (if you are not able to eliminate it from some products), please label your products accordingly - example: dolphin-safe tuna is labeled as such.  You will be advertising how environmentally conscientious you are! 

I would love to remain one of your customers, however am vowing to support only those companies that adopt CERTIFIED sustainably sound practices when it comes to palm oil/palmitate consumption.
