Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Teen Programs provide meaningful life experiences that inspire teens to take conservation action both on and off Zoo grounds through education, leadership, stewardship and environmental exploration.

** Applications for Summer Session 2020 open February 1, at 8 a.m. MST, and close on February 22 at 7 p.m. MST. **

Informational Meeting on Summer Teen Program

What: A meeting for all interested community members to learn more about the summer teen program for 12-17 year olds.
When: Saturday, January 18, 2020, 9:30 a.m – 10:30 a.m. (Applications for Summer Program are open February 1 – 22, 2020.)
Where: Lodge at Moose Lake, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, you will be escorted back out of the Zoo when the meeting comes to an end. You are welcome to purchase admission to return.
Who: Any families interested! All are welcome!
Do you have a dream to work with animals, to see an elephant up close, to be a conservationist, or to learn more about being a leader? Come see if the Zoo experience is right for you this summer. Join us at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo for a ‘dreams come true’ summer working with zookeepers, educators, and animals. Spend the summer months being social with friends and exploring our beautiful mountainside Zoo. Don’t forget about all the trips we do, be prepared for some fun adventures like white water rafting, camping, rock climbing, mountain biking, visiting local animal sanctuaries, visiting Zoo’s and learning to be a leader and an advocate for the environment.
