Go Walking in the Moonlight.
Come see the Zoo in a different light – by Moonlight!! Even when the Zoo is closed to regular visitors, there's plenty to see. Enjoy dinner and a private tour of the Zoo led by one of our education staff. Find out what many of the animals do once the Zoo closes. Choose one of our scheduled Moonlight Safaris, or choose your own safari date. When you explore the Zoo in the evening, you'll see the animals in a whole new light.
Note: Kids must be at least 3 years old to participate in Moonlight Safaris with adults. Kids Only Moonlight Safaris are for kids 5 and up.
Pre-scheduled Moonlight Safaris (online registration)
Pre-scheduled Moonlight Safaris give you or your group the opportunity to join others on a Moonlight Safari at the Zoo. Meet new people and participate in planned activities!

Family Moonlight Safari | What better way to enjoy time with your family on the 4th of July than with a fun night watching fire works from our new exhibit, Encounter Africa, and get a private tour of the Zoo. Enjoy a light dinner and lots of family fun.
