Things You and Your Group Should Know:
- Youths need to be at least 11 years old to volunteer. Our most common project for youth groups is making seed sticks for our Australian budgie exhibit.
- Supervise. The ratio of adult supervisors to youth should be 1 to 5, depending on the age of the group's participants – so they are under constant supervision.
