Adopt An Animal

Foster Your Favorite Animal Friends.

By adopting an animal, you’ll help Cheyenne Mountain Zoo continue to provide outstanding care. Whether given as a gift or used to celebrate a favorite species, your symbolic adoption comes with a variety of benefits only adoptive parents can enjoy. Plus, with more than 750 animals and 170 species to care for, your donation will contribute to over $1.6 million spent to care for our animals each year.

We love our adopt parents! If you’ve symbolically adopted an animal, or had an animal adopted in your honor, we’ll list your name here the entire year you are an Adopt an Animal parent!

Ways to Adopt*:

  1. Digital Adopts – ($35) choose any animal listed below.
  2. Wild Adopt Gift Packages – ($65) includes a cuddly plush to keep!
  3. Traditional Adopts – ($50+) choose any animal listed below for mailed packages.
  4. Classroom or Group Adopts – ($35+) pick your herd, chatter or family for your group.

*Consider maximizing your adoption donation at any level by making it a digital adoption.
