By adopting an animal, you’ll help Cheyenne Mountain Zoo continue to provide outstanding care. Whether given as a gift or used to celebrate one of your favorite species, a symbolic adoption comes with a variety of benefits only adoptive parents can enjoy. Not only that, but you’ll know that with more than 750 animals and 170 species to care for, your adopt will contribute to over $1.6 million spent on our animals each year.

Choose from two ways to adopt: – through the Wild Adoption Gift Packages below, which includes a cuddly plush to keep, or by making a simple adopt donation to any animal listed in the Animal Adoption List below. Donations start at $30.

*All adoptions are valid for one year. Like all living creatures, Zoo animals may become ill, pass away or move to another zoo temporarily or permanently. If the animal leaves for any reason, your symbolic adoption can be transferred to another animal for the remainder of your adoption year.
