SAFARI TRAIL IMMERSION TOURS
For those with an adventurous streak, the African Rift Valley offers the opportunity to walk along a Safari Discovery Trail that is immersed inside the ARV animal yard. Led by experienced zookeepers, explorers on the safari trail will experience the Zoo’s African animal collection as no others ever have – up-close and personal! Visitors interested in a guided safari trail excursion are advised to make reservations in advance as the expeditions are expected to be very popular. The Trail is for those ages 5 and above.
Cost: $5.00 per person/max of 10 people per tour
Times: Weekends - 10 am, 11 am, 2 pm and 3 pm through October 2005.
It's a Quiet Zone - No kids under 5 years of age

SPECIAL TOURS – EDUCATION DEPARTMENT
The Zoo’s education department is offering specially-designed tours just for you and your group! What better way to enjoy the Zoo than with your very own guide? Hear stories of your favorite animals, meet zookeepers and learn some amazing things about the nation’s only mountain Zoo. Up-close animal encounters can also be arranged. Give us a topic and we will give you a tour. Tour topics can be arranged to fit your school class subjects, Colorado standards, scout badge requirements, special interest and more!

Cost: $35 for one hour or $55 for two hours plus, $4.50 per child and $7 per adult each for admission to the zoo.
Groups receive one free adult admission for every 10 paid students. We are unable to accept passes or memberships in place of admission fees for these tours. Maximum of 25 students per group.
