Tusks at Dusk – Premium Kids Only Starlight Safari – (Nov. 19)

Ages: 5 years and older
Drop off the kiddos for an evening program that will be sure to create a lifetime memory! We will start the evening with a pizza party before indulging in s’mores (weather permitting). After our bellies are full we will tour the Zoo to see what our animals do at night. We will meet an animal up-close, and even feed our giraffe herd, we will also tour our Elephant Barn! To wind down before pick up, we will get creative and use fabric markers and stencils to personalize our very own Zoo pillowcase to take home.

Starlight Safari’s are sure to spark your curiosity and answer all your animal questions during our guided evening tour!
Every Starlight Safari evening program includes:
- Roasting s’mores.
- Feeding our giraffe herd their favorite lettuce snacks.
- A private tour led by EdVenture staff.
- An up-close animal meet and greet with a CMZ ambassador animal.
All Starlight Safaris are from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. (2 hours), unless otherwise noted.

For general and Kids Only Starlight Safaris, the minimum age is 5 years old.
For Teen Only Starlight Safaris, the ages are 6th – 12th grade.
For Date Night Starlight Safaris, the age is 21+.
This is not an overnight program.

EdVenture Refunds, Cancellations or Changes
A refund request must be received no less than TWO WEEKS prior to the start of the program. If approved, the Zoo will refund the amount of the fee minus 25% of the program fee. No refunds will be given after two weeks prior to the start of the program.
*If you are participating in an extended EdVenture Program (Zoo Crew, Junior Zookeeper, etc.) please send an email to the program specific supervisor to discuss refund options and policies.
We do not issue refunds for parties that do not show for their reservation. If you need to cancel or reschedule your event, please refer to the confirmation email received upon registration. For further inquiry, please email [email protected].
If the Zoo is closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen events, we will issue you a full refund (less the non-refundable deposit) or you may reschedule the event to the next available date and apply all payments already made toward your reservation to the new reservation.
The Zoo reserves the right to cancel a program due to lack of enrollment or unforeseen circumstances in which the Zoo is closed. If the Zoo is closed due to inclement weather or other unforeseen events, we will issue you a full refund (less the non-refundable deposit) or you may reschedule the event to the next available date and apply all payments already made toward your reservation to the new reservation.
