Special Events Manager
Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is seeking an exceptional candidate for the position of Special Events Manager in the Marketing Department. This candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in executing professional, public large-scale events. Execution includes budget management, long-range planning, soliciting vendors and sponsors, and all event logistics. Candidate must be extremely organized with strong documentation skills. Candidate must also be an unbridled optimist and a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. Summer Camp Mentor
Summer Camp Mentors take a leading role in environmental education for toddlers through 12th graders in the Zoo’s, summer camp programs. The goal of these programs is to instill and foster a lifelong love for nature and animals as well as introduce or develop lifelong passions for activities that tie youth directly to wildlife and/or wild places. Through live animal presentations, games, crafts and Zoo hikes, camp mentors will help children and teenagers provide a link between people and nature. Promotes professional working relationships with both internal and external customers. This position is non-supervisory in nature.
