This veterinarian is responsible for providing medical care and preventative medicine at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. The veterinarian position is a combination of clinical medicine and computer work. Duties include helping monitor and address any zoonotic health concerns or reportable diseases on zoo grounds, maintaining an active teaching program, and presenting medical successes or unusual findings to the greater zoo/zoo vet community. Additional duties may include working with our black-footed ferret and Wyoming toad breeding and reintroduction programs.
