Photographer/Videographer

Builds attendance and image for Cheyenne Mountain Zoo by capturing and editing original photos and videos for use in social media content creation and other promotional and communication pieces. Must have an insatiable curiosity about our animals and a desire to share them with our social media followers, newsletter subscribers, members and other audiences.

Must have previous experience working on a professional, collaborative and creative team. Must be a communicative teammate who asks questions about assignments, proactively provides progress updates and shares creative ideas to support the Zoo’s brand. Must have an excellent eye for photo/video composition and documented experience in producing finished content. Video editing experience is required. Experience with Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred.

Additionally, this position assists the Zoo’s Graphic Designer by using existing templates for brand development, visual presentations, logos, signage, promotional materials, and print collateral for a wide range of mediums. Assist with project management to include updating existing graphics, exporting files, printing, mounting, fabrication and installation of signage as needed. Commissary Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Animal Commissary Supervisor to join our team at the Zoo. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the daily operations of the animal commissary, ensuring its smooth functioning and maintaining the highest standards in animal nutrition. Special Events Manager

This position is responsible for the planning, execution and evaluation of established large-scale events, as well as creating and facilitating new events during the low season. Manages Zoo promotions to build attendance. Works closely with the Graphic Designer, Public Relations and Social Media team and Marketing Director. Development Officer – International Center and CMZoo

This position is primarily responsible for prospect research activities, donor cultivation, stewardship and solicitation for the International Center for the Care and Conservation of Giraffe (Center) as well as fundraising for capital projects and programs for CMZoo. Post-Graduate Veterinary Technician Program

Congratulations on your decision to pursue a career as a Zoo Veterinary Technician! Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is an excellent place to begin your journey. During the 6 month program, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in zoo wildlife care, working closely with experienced veterinary technicians, zoo veterinarians and zoo keeper staff.
