Ages: Middle and High School, 6th - 12th grades. Summer Session runs May 26, 2025 – August 7, 2026 for Zoo Crew and Junior Zoo Keeper programs. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Teen Programs provide meaningful life experiences that inspire teens to take conservation action both on and off Zoo grounds through education, leadership, stewardship and environmental exploration. Admission to the program is through an application process. Online applications for Zoo Crew and Junior Zoo Keeper will be open during this time. An application fee applies. Once you have completed your application fee transaction you will get an automatic generated email that contains the link to your application! All applications must be submitted by midnight on February 10, 2026.

Ages 12-18. Early Bird Registration discounts apply Feb. 1 - 28 only. CMZoo’s Youth Leadership Action Board invites you to the 8th Annual Youth Conservation Leadership Conference (YCLC), right here on the mountainside. This conference is hosted by your teenage peers as a common ground conference to work towards worldwide conservation education efforts. Registration is required. Regular registration will be open March 1 - July 1, 2026 or until sold out.
