Family Camp April – Magnificent Marsupials

All ages. Book any time in April during regular Zoo hours. Marsupials are magnificent animals! They are great at climbing, digging, and some are even great at hopping. Join us as we uncover the mysteries behind the unique marsupials at the Zoo. We will even meet Hutch, a Virginia opossum, to get an up close look at these pouched creatures. Each family will have their own EdVenture guide and time slots to keep safety our number one priority. Registration one week in advance is required.

Family Camp (February & March) – Underfoot & Misunderstood

All ages. Offered throughout February & March. Naked mole rats are mighty, yet misjudged. Join us as we discover what makes these animals neither a mole, nor naked. Together we will discover just how nifty our naked mole rats really are. Tour Area: Water's Edge: Africa & Primate World. Registration is required.

Unique & Differing Needs Camp – Ages 7-11* – Movin’ & Groovin’ – June 10

*Ages 7-11. Offered on Saturday June 10 or July 15 only. *This camp is specially designed for campers ages 7 -11 with autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, developmental disabilities/delays or medical fragility. Campers, their caregiver, and Camp Mentors will skip, boogie, and roll through Cheyenne Mountain Zoo as we learn the different movements our animals make and why it is beneficial to their wellbeing. (One caregiver may also attend this camp without an additional fee.) Registration is required and is open online.

Fall Break Day Camps (1st-6th Grades) – Nov. 20, 21, 22

Ages: 1st - 6th grades. Offered Monday - Wednesday, November 20, 21 or 22. Sign up for any one day or all three. Join us for Living Legends. From the zoo to our own backyards, Colorado is home to legendary animals. Join us in discovering what special skills Rocky Mountain wildlife need in order to survive. Then learn your own set of outdoor protection skills so you can be a Local Legend too! Registration is required.
