Rocky Mountain Wild Barbecue Co.

Alfresco patio café offering a unique sit-down restaurant area with the best views in the city. Chef-inspired house-smoked barbecue and small plates, along with bottled water, beverages, canned beer and seltzers.

LOCATION: Near the middle of the Zoo, just past Pizza with a View
HOURS:
Spring Break – October, Daily 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Beverages served 10:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (weather dependent)
Closed, October – May, unless otherwise noted.

Carousel Sweets

Offering local hand-dipped ice cream, shaved ice, snacks, other sweets, bottled beverages and water.

LOCATION: Next to (south of) the carousel, across from the Grizzly Grill.
HOURS:
May – October: Daily, 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (weather dependent)
Closed, November – February

Dippin' Dots

Open seasonally in Rocky Mountain Wild.
May – October, 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Winter weekends and Spring Break, 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (weather dependent)

Picnic Areas & Info

Outdoor seating can be found at various locations around the Zoo.

The main picnic area is near the Carousel, view Zoo Guest Map for details.

You are welcome to bring food, coolers, etc. with you, just please refrain from bringing in any glass or alcohol.

Please do not feed any of your food to the Zoo animals.

Outside food and drink may not be taken in to any of the Zoo restaurants.
