Spring Break Day Camps

Ages 4-12. Register for any single day or combination of days. Discover fun half-day PreK-K and full day 1st-6th grade camps. Campers should register for the grade they are currently enrolled in.

Kids Only Wildnight

Ages 5+. Have you ever seen or heard the Zoo at night? Don’t guess; come learn what it’s like to spend the night among the creatures at the Zoo. This program is for kids only! We’ll have a pizza party, roast s’mores, enjoy a guided evening tour, we’ll meet an animal up close and round off the experience with breakfast and an early morning tour…and we won’t forget about feeding the giraffe! Let us do all the work, all you have to do is register and show up prepared for a fun night!

Endangered Species Day

For schools. Join us for this unique peer-to-peer learning day! Presenting students create and lead learning stations to educate peers on the plight of endangered species. Participating students will enjoy the event through a passport-style journey of learning throughout the Zoo.

Early Explorers – Razzle Dazzle Reptiles

Ages 3-4 years. Lizards, snakes, and turtles! Come to this class with your little one and learn about the beautiful colors and patterns that can be found on reptiles! Camouflage, warning coloration, or mimicry? A reptiles’ coloring can communicate so many different things. Come and explore with us!

Kids Only Amazing Animal Adapters WildNight

Ages 5+. Let us tour your kids around the Zoo and we’ll learn all about our animals and how they adapt to different environments. The Zoo is hosting this special themed over night for kids only! Run to the Shrine

All ages. Cheyenne Mountain Zoo invites world class runners and families alike to Run to the Shrine on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Run to the Shrine is a 4-mile run/walk course that curves through the Zoo, up to the Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun and back down into the Zoo. The run provides some of the most stunning views in the Pikes Peak region. The 4-mile race concludes with a party at Lodge at Moose Lake! Register NOW!

AAZK’s Bowling for Rhinos Fundraiser

Join Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Zoo Keepers and AAZK for a fun night of bowling, raffles and door prizes – and strike out extinction! It’s all to help wild rhinos! Bowling for Rhinos (BFR) is an annual fundraising event held by AAZK (American Association of Zoo Keepers ) chapters across the country. Register your self or a team, gather sponsors (optional) and bowl with us! Online early-bird registration begins April 17.

World Giraffe Day

World Giraffe Day is a worldwide celebration that aims to raise support, create awareness, and shed light on the challenges giraffe face in the wild. Teddy Bear Day
