Annual Plant Sale

Saturday, May 27 @ 8:00 am - Monday, May 29 @ 5:00 pm

May 27-28-29. Saturday-Sunday-Monday. 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Visit the Zoo’s greenest event of the year. This annual sale with many varieties and competitive prices. Zoo’s Horticultue staff will be on hand to answer gardening questions. No Zoo admission is required to attend the plant sale, so stop by! (Sorry, no online or pre-ordering available this year.)

AAZK’s Bowling for Rhinos Fundraiser

Join Cheyenne Mountain Zoo’s Zoo Keepers and AAZK for a fun night of bowling, raffles and door prizes – and strike out extinction! It’s all to help wild rhinos! Bowling for Rhinos (BFR) is an annual fundraising event held by AAZK (American Association of Zoo Keepers ) chapters across the country. Groovin’ for Gibbons

All ages. Join us around the Monkey Pavilion area for a fun awareness raising event for gibbons and the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). Lots of kids activities and live music. Learn all about gibbons, sustainable wood choices. and even opposable thumbs!

World Giraffe Day

Wednesday, June 21

World Giraffe Day is a worldwide celebration that aims to raise support, create awareness, and shed light on the challenges giraffe face in the wild. CMZoo is hosting an array of activities throughout the day, including opportunities for guests to interact with giraffe keepers and get to know our giraffe herd. We look forward to seeing you there!

Members Only Appreciation Night

Wednesday, June 21 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Zoo Members only. Summer is finally here! Beat the heat with Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and enjoy a member-priced cookout at Lodge at Moose Lake! The entire Zoo will be open with scheduled animal demos and keeper talks. Reservations not required. Stay tuned for a list of events!

Teddy Bear Day

Kids ages 3 to 11 who are accompanied by a teddy bear or other stuffed animal will get a discounted admission to the Zoo with a paid adult. (Zoo members are always free). Unbearable fun activities throughout the day!

Zoo Members Only. Summer always goes by so fast, so we want our members to enjoy one last night at the Zoo before the kids go back to school! Beat the heat and enjoy the animals after-hours.
