Join our Cheyenne Mountain Zoo keeper as your guide for how to safely live with, manage, learn from and enjoy the wildlife all around you.

Topics include:

  • Rocky Mountain birding,
  • Raising backyard chickens,
  • What’s out there at night?
  • Protecting our pollinators,
  • Backyard beekeeping

Classes are open to adults and children.
Classes are recommended for children ages 6 and up.

Cost per class:

Adult Member: $15.75
Adult non-member: $30.75
Child: $10.75

Bats are not just creatures that fly around at night eating bugs. They are also amazing pollinators that help plants grow! Bats are one of the most misunderstood species on the planet that are also one of the most amazing and interesting animals too! Join us for a night time adventure through the zoo as we look for active groups of bats and learn about all of their amazing adaptations!
