Everything Skunk

Paint. Sip. Safari (Adult 21+) – Feb 17 or 24

Wednesday, February 17 at 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Adult 21+. Join us for an adults only program where you not only get to create memories but a painting of one of our amazing animals as well. Spend the evening at the zoo strolling through animal exhibits, enjoying an adult beverage, meeting animals up close and creating a masterpiece! February's featured animal painting is striped skunks Fred & George. Registration is required. Online registration is still open for February 17 only. The program on February 24 is sold out. Bring the Animals to You.

These Animal Ambassadors may visit you when you book a custom animal experience with the ZOOMobile. Our EdVenture keepers bring live animals to engage your classrooms, birthdays, community gatherings, seniors, special events and more. The ZOOMobile visits groups throughout the Pikes Peak region and beyond.

Due to the nature of working with live animals, the ZOOMobile cannot guarantee which animals will be present for any program.

Special Edition Art

This animal may have unique artwork available on a limited basis. These animals also are available for Loft Animal Experiences. This Special Edition artwork is produced on unique occasions by an individual animal or a combination of animals contributing to the final piece. Hands-on at The Loft

See. Learn. Explore. Do. Discover what it is like to care for animals. Bring your curiosities and get hands-on with Zoo animals! You may get to help make a tortoise salad, change a snake’s water bowl, or mist a lizard habitat. Signage is designed to highlight our individual animals and share something special about them. Each visit to The Loft is unique and the whole space is kid-friendly.

Skunk Meet & Greet

Join a Loft Zoo Keeper for a special encounter and unique animal interaction!

Our skunk brothers, Fred and George are quite the duo. Watch their playful antics as you feed them some tasty treats in some enrichment made by you. Assist their keeper with a fun training session that get our skunks up and moving.
