Ages 1-4 years. This special Valentine’s Day Holiday edition Stroller Safari includes a special animal demo, meeting birds around the Zoo, and creating a birdhouse to take home so that your backyard lovebirds can have somewhere to raise their family! Registration is required.

On Tuesday, February 24, get an extra ticket to make your family outing complete! Bring your canine kiddo for a Zoo adventure. For these special dates, you can bring your well-behaved dog to the Zoo with you! Simply purchase a dog ticket along with your family’s human tickets, and Fido can experience many of the sights, sounds and smells that make the Zoo so special. Dog tickets are limited. Advance tickets are required.

Ages Middle & High School. Come spark your sense of adventure and put your survival skills to the test! Through this immersive, hands-on program we’ll develop beginner techniques in such aspects as shelter construction and fire building. *Program includes daytime admission. Registration is required.

Ages 1-4 years. This special Holiday edition Stroller Safari includes a special demo with an animal from our reptile area, meet & greets with other “green” animals, and a fun green themed sensory activity! Registration is required.

Ages Elementary and Middle School. (Elementary program is sold out.) Get ready to put your best paw forward! Join us as we explore the toe-tally weird ways animals use their feet — from geckos that stick to ceilings to lizards that run on water! Let’s discover how feet help animals survive, hunt, hide, and even create. Registration is required.

Ages 1-4 years. This includes a visit with our resident rabbits and egg decorating! Participants will also learn how eggs are connected to lots of other animals around the Zoo too! Registration is required.

Ages Elementary and Middle School. (The elementary age program is sold out.) Have you ever wondered if animals can predict the weather—or even change it? Join us as we discover how animals respond to storms, sense changes in the air, and even help shape their environment’s climate! Registration is required.

Ages 1-4 years. Join us for a Mother's Day celebration for Magnificent Moms….including you! Come join us for a fabulous fun adventure as we visit other mother’s around the Zoo! Registration is required.

Ages 6-12 years. Get ready to bug out with fun! With busy bees and mesmerizing millipedes, we’re exploring the amazing world of insects and arachnids and how they live, work, and survive in their tiny world. Registration is required.

Our spectacular online silent auction is LIVE through Saturday, June 20 at 7:15 p.m. We hope you’ll join us for Zoo Ball 2026, featuring both an in-person black-tie gala and a fabulously unique online silent auction (black-tie optional!) offering unique art, once-in-a-lifetime animal experiences, and so much more! There’s something for everyone with this annual fundraising event. Whether you’re joining us at the Zoo in your evening gown or from your couch in your giraffe pajamas, we’re so grateful for your support! Every dollar directly supports Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and our efforts in conservation, education, and animal care. Get ready to be dazzled! Register to bid and tune into the online fun for free. Auction bidding closes Saturday, June 20 at 7:15 p.m. MT.

Ages 7-11. These day camp opportunities are specially designed for campers with autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, developmental disabilities/delays or medical fragility. Year after year millions of animals set out on monumental journeys pushing the limits of adventure. Join us as we travel alongside the well-seasoned guides of the animal kingdom and discover what it takes to make a trip of epic proportions! Registration is required.

Join us in our parking lot, or watch from your preferred viewing spot in the area. This special 200-drone show will take off from a higher point than our normal shows, making them visible from much farther away. The show will last about fifteen minutes from 9:15-9:30 p.m. Tickets or reservations are not required. The Zoo will be closed during the drone show. The Zoo parking lot is limited and will open at 7:15 p.m. for public viewing. Please follow staff directions for parking and viewing. The show is weather permitting and alcohol, pets, and personal fireworks are not permitted.

Ages 7-11. These day camp opportunities are specially designed for campers with autism spectrum disorders, sensory processing disorders, developmental disabilities/delays or medical fragility. Hop, climb, and dive your way through fascinating animal habitats! Dance, slither, and roll into animal facts as we investigate the animal kingdom through movement. Registration is required.
